New Feature: Pick the Perfect Designer For You, Every Time
We’re excited to announce a brand new feature of the Red Clay platform that was unveiled just this week: enhanced designer portfolios.
One of the most important indicators of the success of a Red Clay project is whether or not the right designer is chosen to submit their work and tackle your design challenge. But, it’s not always easy to know who is exactly right for any given project. With that in mind, we spent some time improving the matching element of the platform.
Our aim was to to strike a delicate balance between giving our customers enough context on a designer to make a decision, without creating an information overload. After all, our process is designed to move quickly and efficiently.
Thanks to this new feature, Red Clay customers will have access to a more robust portfolio for each designer on the platform, and will be able to make more informed decisions on who to hire.
To achieve this we decided to curate some added information in the form of top design skills, project statistics, and an array of previous design work. We integrated Behance’s API to more easily pull in images and statistics that the designers have already spent time curating on their profiles there.
It’s now possible to quickly find out in which areas a designer has the most experience, peruse past images to see if they’ve worked on a similar project to yours, and quantitatively evaluate if they have enough expertise and experience in a given arena.
Here’s an example of how the statistics will look on a designer’s profile with this enhancement:
And right below, you’ll see a plethora of examples of the designer’s previous projects:
If you’re used to perusing Behance to find a freelance designer anyway, now all the same information will be waiting for you inside the Red Clay platform. Seamlessly move from evaluating to running a project and get your product designed that much more efficiently.
