New Feature: Keep Your Idea Safe and Secure
One of the trickiest things when it comes to any sort of collaboration is feeling comfortable sharing your ideas. IP laws and patents were created specifically to allay this discomfort and guard against potential idea theft. We understand that putting out your product idea to a design community of strangers can we be nerve-wracking. We trust our designers, but you don’t know them yet. On the other end, our designers are interested in working on your project, but they need to know enough about what’s involved to make an informed decision about whether it’s the right project for them.
It’s our responsibility to foster trust each way, which is why we built a new feature into our brief. Now, as a brand you will be able to have complete control over which aspects of your creative brief (our version of an RFW) are accessible to our entire community, and which are only shared after you’ve committed to the designer that’s right for you.
The feature is really easy to use, too. Just click the toggle from private to public, or the other way around (pictured above). You can also get a preview of your project listing to see exactly what the design community will see when you post your brief.
